This month’s free music podcast comes from Skymning, a self proclaimed bedroom producer from Wellington, New Zealand. Using soundcloud as his main release platform he has released numerous remixes, two EPs, as well as a 7″ split with local musician Lontalius. This is Skymning’s first attempt at any form of mixtape. He keeps it pretty well based in rap/hip hop for the majority of the mix then takes some surprising turns and ends with a remix of his own from none other than Biggie Smalls. Previewing this podcast had me feeling pretty hyped and gangsta – taking me back to some care free times…
