DEMF 2011: Movement Schedule Released!

The Movement 2011 Schedule has finally been released showing you exactly what stage and time Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival stellar lineup will be playing.

Movement 2011 Saturday Schedule:

In usual fashion, the M_nus crew will be trenching in at the Beatport stage all day. It’s starts and closes with the Hawtin brothers: at Noon Mathew Hawtin with probably set the mood with an ambient set and Richie closes with – well, a Richie set. The rest of the afternoon at the Beatport stage is peppered with JPLS, Heartthrob, Gaiser and Marc Houle – all notably playing live sets.

Highlights for the Twilight_Frequencies crew will be at the Movement Torino stage starting with Cio D’or at 6pm and ending with Monolake Surround at 10:30pm.

Movement 2011 Sunday Schedule:

Truley, it’s all about the Movement Torino stage for Sunday. This is the day and this is the stage. This stage posted some amazing talent in 2010 with the likes of Kirk Digiorgio and Orlando Voorn and they have really amped up this stage for 2011. True techedz could nearly spend all day at this one stage. Highlights include Traversable Wormhole (live) at 5pm, Steve Rachmad at 7:30pm and from there the techno juices continue to flow with Ben Klock at 9pm followed by Marcel Dettmann to close at 10:30pm.

Other notable performances will be at the Vitamin Water main stage with Gaslamp Killer at 10pm followed by the innovators of the Detroit electro sound, who have seen a recent resurgence,  Aux 88 (live) at 11pm.

Movement 2011 Monday Schedule:

Monday for 2011 is really a day to jump around from stage to stage taking in all the different sounds, sights and genres electronic music has to offer. The Redbull Academy stage will showcase some international talent with Scuba at 7pm followed by Little Dragon (live) at 8:30. And everyone has been asking about the Flying Lotus (live) set which will close out the stage for the weekend at 10:30pm.

This would also be a good day to explore the concrete cave Made in Detroit stage for some local flava including Paranormal Tek at 2pm, District 909 (live) at 5pm and Claude Young at 9:30pm. Drumcode boss Adam Beyer will also be closing out the night at the Beatport Stage at 10:30pm. The masses will love the acts on the Vitamin Water main stage as well – starting with Dubfire at 7:30 followed by Green Velvet (live) at 9pm and Fatboy Slim to close out the weekend at 10pm.
